iao - are there any "capitulation" days that one can see from say the 70s or the 80s or before?

Indeed how many "capitulation" days have there been in the last 100 years?

I agree with you.
My thought is we will not see capitulation when everyone expects it. We'll see capitulation when the futures are up in the morning and it takes everyone by surprise. Please don't shout at me again<g>.
