. You allow them free access to expensive lawyers and courts and it costs a bundle. The solution is obvious. I was waiting for you to propose the "solution" that eliminates the appeals process and increases the chance for improperly convicted prisoners to be executed. We aren't on the same planet on this matter. I would rather put that money into programs that will keep my family safer and assist victims than into programs for which there is no evidence they will do that. And these programs are? You can't think of any approach at all to reduce violent crime except killing a tiny percentage of those who commit violent crimes?
