Walt - Cool! So you took an 8 point drawdown, inadvertently, but are now up 16 - that's an acceptable risk /reward!

I wondered about that trade, after you posted it, and then the bottom dropped out (temporarily).

You might as well hold it, now (with a stop), as it might very well run up to 988-990 in the morning before hitting major resistance. Needs to clear the 200sma5 at about 982 first.

There is a quirk with my trading platform that it does not recognize overnight positions, so that if, for example, I were long tonight (I'm not) and I closed the position tomorrow, it would show tomorrow that I am short, and if I then went long again, it would think I was flat. It then tracks my P&L according to it's backward notion of my position. Thus, in those cases, it shows me what my P&L would have been if I had taken the exact opposite position for the day. I hate to tell you how many times this has tracked to much greater profits than what I actually achieved.
