Richard:

I believe I heard that when Worldcom restates earnings, it can refile taxes for a savings of $900MM? That may help. While Worldcom has flatlined, Worldcom isn't dead just yet. Where are the paddles?

Tax re-filing and possible refund? LOL indeed! That'd be a knee-slapper given the mess. 'Course....should they start going back over Sullivans' entire tenure....well....paddles? Yah. And why does that term bring to mind that one scene in Kevin Costners atrocious movie, "Water World." You know (hopefully), the scene where the smokers think they know where solid ground is and proceed to pull out all these oars to row the ship they're on; an old oil tanker! ;-)
