LOL, yeah it's all relative. I'm thrilled with anything over 10% these days. Remember when it wasn't even worth selling till a triple was in! <gg>

KAPUCULATION for me
as a long term resident here, first at rande's site, and now mouf, i want to say, "enough, i've had it, take this market and ---", the wcom fiasco was the straw that broke the back, how can someone lie about 4 billion dollars? where does it end? all i know is, im tired of playing a game where you cant believe the players, and i have waken up to the realization, that while the action is fun, it is not worth the cost, and if i put the same effort into my "day" job, the reward would be much greater and the risks would be much less.

it appears i have become an "addict", addicted to the high stakes "game" we call "wall street", i am addicted to the risk, addicted to the "rush" that comes when you catch a "direction" just right, but when you become out of balance with "reality" and you wake up at night thinking about where a particular position will open at, it is time
to take back control of your life (if you can)

that is what im going to attempt to do
but before i go, i wanted to say bye to some great cyber traders, those of you that go back to rande's thread are a real class act and we have won a few and lost a lot together, i will miss you all but for the sake of my mental health (and my family) i must return to a normal lifestyle that is not focussed on a computer screen

im leaving while my financial future is still secure, while i still have a great family, and while i still have a lot of other vital interests

im going "cold turkey" so i wont be back (for a long time anyhow) but i wish everyone on the thread the best of luck and prosperity and with the realization that when a hardened trader like me is ready to get out, capitulation is close at hand and the bull market is ready to run again,
on the other hand, i cant shake the feeling that look what happend to japan's market, could we take 18 years of this kind of market? what will happen if ibm warns? they look "shaky" to me

bottom line, im just not smart enough to figure out who the bad guys are, and the only good guys i know are on this thread

so see ya guys, its been real, and its been fun, (but it hasnt been real fun)
you guys are still the best
one of these days ill be back to visit (maybe ill have a relapse)
but until then, im going to join that great AMERICAN SPIRIT
in the sky <g>
see ya
