I've read that Martha isn't known as a very nice person within the industry. She is very ambitious and when someone is ambitious, they step on a few hands along the way. This was a great way for the industry to fry her, to get their piece of flesh. It's also good copy, as has already been mentioned. The market tabloids aren't going to sell newspapers with Kozlowski's picture on the cover, for example. But, they will Martha's. Go to jail for lying about something? Good grief, the Missus would have given me a life sentence if that were true. Wait a minute, what am I talking about? Maybe she has! If anyone deserves jail time, it's the people at the top. dabum
