Allen in the 60's I spoke on many a college campus and many other venues. I was a liberal. I was never shouted down nor denied the right to speak by the conservatives. I did get a few Jesus loves you and your damned but that was all. I was never threatened nor did I ever feel intimidated.

That is not the case today for conservatives. They are shouted down on campus and threatened with violence. Their papers are stolen and in general the left appears threatened by ideas and incapable of tolerating an opposite opinion.

So you are saying that since liberals have also engaged in name-calling, it's OK for you to do it?

No, I did not say that, you were making attempts to lay all blame at the feet of conservatives, I was merely showing you that it has been mutual, and to tell you that as far as violations of TOU, I suspect that many more of what we would call Bush haters have been tossed here than Republican conservatives, or even moderates.

I have not read the book, but from what I have heard Coulter's book is not about name calling, but about bias and slander.

how can you claim to be the better person?'

where did I claim this?
