Hi Raymond,

You asked for community opinions...here is mine.

I am intrigued at the consistency with which you tear good threads apart for fun once every now and then...

If the tone was pleasant and your manner a little more friendlier, a lot of us would even make an attempt to read your rants........

I would prefer this thread remain a source of insight into the markets, just like it was earlier, before the political garbage started tainting the exchange...

Regards.

HG

Ray, you've made the perfect segue for me. I've recently gone back to work for a large company. The past several years I was working for my own small company.

My employer and my boss pointed out that I've joined a "club" with higher standards. And also this company wants my efforts focused on them.

Thus I'm getting out of any investing involvement or market analysis here on SI.

I've enjoyed my time here on SI, and have made many friends. But much as one makes friends in High School or college but then one day leaves HS or College. It appears that I've made a similar transition.

You're posts of today have been a heaven sent catalyst to make me follow through more seriously with the directives from my employer.

I'm watching and working with the markets full time with my job and so my SI friends and colleauges can send me a PM and we can talk on the telephone going forward. we can also talk privately via email and possibly PM.

I'll still be around a bit, but certainly not as much. Maybe one day my work responsibilities will change and then I'll be able to talk about the markets more freely once again in a writen public format.

So to recap, I'm now out of the SIpublic Market forecasting and commenting business.

Feel free to contact me via PM and it's possible we could talk via phone.

I'm a sociable kind of guy so I don't mind chatting with my SI friends and also possibly a few folks I don't know well from SI.

But Obviously, my boss at work will be happier with me if I'm working at my main job. And that's exactly what I plan to be doing going forward.

or whether you are attempting to sweep a plethora of problems under the rug for the sake of some nefarious gain. I do understand you are making good money on shorting the USD.

this is the funniest thing I've ever read.

Yes Ray, I'm such a well know currency and interest rate strategist and since I've previously worked at Citi and Chase, I've now arrived at the point in my life where the Global multi trillion dollar Foreign exchange market is influenced by my little utterances here.

Anyone making money by positioning in Foreign exchange is doing so because they are simply trading with the natural direction of the FX Market.

Even Soros has to deal with that reality.

The community here will simply love the fact that you made it much easier for me to stop even sooner from posting about any market related topic.

why don't you go bother Zeev now...

Ray,

You are way out of line here. John is extraordinarily bright, well-informed and generous and does not deserve the kind of posts you made to him.

Please show some class and leave the thread as he requested.

Your way out of line.

Please leave the thread as John requested.

Posters like John are very rare on SI or any other board.

He has shared his knowledge, experience & insight into the markets with uncommon clarity & vision on this thread.

Unlike you, he will be sorely missed by the SI community if he leaves.

I have learned an awful lot from John and it is my hope that he will continue to post...

Please crawl back to whatever swamp you emerged from :(

Regards,
Peter

oh jeeez...another moron

I don't know you Ray, but I know JP. Not only are you way off base and extremely out of line here, but you show a very weak ability to judge character

now please GFYS, and I mean that in a good way
