The problem with ISDN is the provisioning of the line by the telco. One project required me to write a device driver for a new ISDN card. The biggest pain was to find a person at the telco who knew what they were doing with ISDN. This turned out to be a person in another city who directed the local efforts of technicians with the telco. I hope the telcos now have their act together. There can be sharing with ADSL. This would be the first option I would choose.
