It would help us understand the apparent dichotomy if Bob would explain the signs that led to the failed CTR call

Good luck! I've looked, others have looked and there were some signs but they went away in a few weeks anyway. In addition, basic signs such as the 20 EMA moving under the 50 EMA is a big sell signal. There were some oversold indicators but they dissipated in November which was a double sign of trouble.

That's the true head scratcher and the sign of an amateur trader I hear. The market failed to do what he expected so, instead of cutting things short and taking a moderate loss, he tried to make what happened fit into his predictions.

The odd thing is that he kept doing that month after month for 6 months. It was nothing short of bizarre.

I feel if Bob was truly interested in helping educate investors he would address the issue. I don't know anyone that has not learned from mistakes. They often provide the best remembered lessons. I suspect the longer he waits the tougher it will be for him to bring up. It maybe at the point of no return.

Maybe it is we who learned from Bob's mistake. Question is did he?
