I am sure that your thesis and extrapolations are plausible. I just don't know if they are true. In any event, I was not interested in a comparison with the rural poor of the 18th century, but with affluent suburban white girls of the post- War period, which is the only sampling that could give a reading on the possible effect of a liberal abortion regime on how such girls behave (not that we have enough data for that). Still, what you have dug up so far is worth chewing over, and I thank you.......
