My thinking about the Accounting scandals is this is the "peak" It's everywhere on every channel every night. That's all anyone can talk about. So, buying other's pain is now and I think it's the best time to catch the next run.

Of course there is never any hurry to jump in with both feet but if your looking at any telecom stocks now's the time to buy them when no one wants them. As William has said "buy pain, not gain"


Good points FT...

A story is no longer a story when everyone is talking about it... Most of the pain has already been priced into the market... Telecoms should have a big recovery in 2003...

The Xerox news was received by the markets with hardly a yawn... The VIX is backing off... We either get a final selling climax with the VIX above 40 or a whimper bottom that quietly rises...
