Your unwillingness to accept what has been a viable policy for over half a century What policy have I not accepted? Did I file a law suit? Did I commend the guy for filing a law suit? Did I propose that classrooms not allot time to say the Pledge? What I proposed was that the official understanding of "God" as used in the Pledge, be amended to mean not only God and Allah and Yahweh, etc. but "gods" and "Ceremonial God," which I think would include everyone without changing any classroom practices. I don't see what's intolerant about that. It merely seems to me that I'm asking for a bit more liberal understanding of what the phrase can mean to raise the comfort level of those left out. I even offered that "they" could do that with a wink if they wanted. I don't see the intolerance there. Perhaps you would 'splain...
