Allen, you foolishly show shallow thinking again. It is not my particular belief or your particular belief. It's what main stream Christian belief is. And the issue is would a reasonable person who knows the dialects of Christian beliefs reasonably conclude the meaning or interpretation of all of Rev Falwells words were correctly reported by Ms Coulter. If it is a reasonable interpretation then those who know this and attack are dishonest and are what Ms Coulter calls main stream liberals and I call smear mongering vacant liberal minded lefty loons. In the body of your posts and the ever shallow thinking I see in them is leading me to move you into that classification. I take my time in making conclusions and give others a chance several times to show me I'm wrong. Mr Rexley I've observed conducts himself in a similar manner as well as several others on this thread. I think we differ more substantially than that, since I believe Jesus was not a promoter of doctrine. Doctrine: 1. something taught; teachings 2. something taught as the principles or creed of a religion.(Webster's New World). Christ was first a teacher. A teacher of principles/morals. "Do unto others", "Love your enemies" etc.. I know a number of Christians who thought Falwell's statements were bigoted hate speech. Speculating about God's removal of protection is "hate speech"? Genesis Ch 6 verse 5: Then God saw that great was the wickedness of man in the earth, and that every purpose of the devices in his heart was only wicked all the day. And it grieved God that He had made man in the earth, and He took sorrow into His heart.
