Follow the money. The U.S. paid $11 Billion to fund the Marshall Plan and keep Western Europe out of Stalin's sphere of influence.

From 1967 to today, the U.S. has spent $100 Billion in aid to Israel to keep this postage stamp out of who's sphere of influence? Wrong question. We support Israel year after year because they are an irritant to any Arabian empire that might be formed. Israel is a "wedge" tactic on the global chessboard.
