Zeev and all, I know many ask for your inputs as I have in the past as well. I saw something today and dont know what to make of it. The symbol is FRN. I have included a link of a chart. It is thinly traded, about 26k avgt daily volume. Spread is normally about $.10. Today it was over a buck at 6.70/7.85. I scanned for news and nothing came up. I decided to try a test with the above bid/ask and offered up some shares at 7.83. They went thru within minutes despite bid at 6.70. After the close the bid/ask is showing 3.32/13.13. Normally it stays at last bid ask of the day, which was approx 6.70/7.85. I appreciate your inputs. Zeev: The main risk to your forecast is if we now get the capitulation most of us are not expecting until fall. That could mean Naz 1200 and Dow 8000 in the near future. Seems unlikley, but cannot be ruled out entirely IMHO.

ZH - I hope I'm not turning into a bear but rallying now!!!! or even soon!!!! EVen I have to say at this point that a bit fanciful. Index fund redemptions?????? Then what? Another week or so of this and people will call it a day. I have no idea wherther that makes a bottom and I don't see how it can if there are relentless accouting scandals. And even if one doesn't appear for a day or so the worry is that the next one is just around the corner. Now it's a short hop from the announcement of the scandal to the filing of Chapter 11. As for the leadership of the various administration figures, the Treasury Sec seems content to go around Africa with an ageing pop star, the head of the SEC was a big corporate lawyer, The President is a really nice guy but he has some more pressing issues to cope with.And Mr Greenspan and his elderly Fed Governors seem oblivious to it all have caused this mess in the first place. About the only guy in government woh is focused on this mess is Elliot Spitzer. ( Good name "Elliot") Best, L
