Worldcom won't sell off UUNET. UUNET is the Hope Diamond in Wcom's goodie jar. I might be a bit biased, being a former employee, but UUNET is the best piece of that puzzle. At the end of 2000 Wcom began trying to more closely associate itself to the UUNET brand, in the hopes of some of the shine rubbing off. They even bought new shirts for everyone and you had to say "UUNET, a WORLDCOM company" when answering the phone.

MCI on the other hand, leads the loss. Wcom created the seperate tracking stock a year or so ago because MCI was pulling the rest of the ship down. I'm betting on a sell off.
