Sidgmore also appeared to send a message to Washington: WorldCom is too big to be allowed to fail. He said the company caters to 20 million customers, carries half of all Internet traffic, and handles sensitive data for the U.S. State and Defense departments, among other things. <?I>

Grace can you explain to me just how these figures correlate. A chapter eleven would be more beneficial for the company as debt would drop significantly.
