Elmer, it also bears noting that AMD warned in the middle of the night, on a week when many people are on vacation. No name is attached to that warning, and no reason given.

This is not the actions of a company with a lot of credibility.

Elmer, I'd use this same argument with SUN. Sun trading at below $5 a share, EPS losses, & a mkt. cap of only $15B. I can't see many new clients choosing the Sun platform, & if Itanium 2 price/performance are as good as rumored, perhaps we can see Intel stealing some business from Sun.
