You want to talk agendas? I heard from a school child that she was taught eating meat was morally wrong, as was firearm ownership, as was private land ownership! I'll give you the one on evolution, the extreme religious right would wrongly outlaw its teaching. My education agendaK-9? 1. Math 2. Science 3. Reading 4. Grammar 5. Geography 6. (actual)History. Have you looked at P.C. math instruction where the answer isn't important, only that the student feels good about themselves? Truth? how about 2+2=4? What happened to phonics in reading? Why is Ebonics acceptable anywhere in the education system(excepting perhaps gym or athletics)? Why can't 1/3 of 7th graders in the US list a single state which borders the Pacific Ocean - unless they live in one of those states? When did Susan B. Anthony become more important to U.S. History than Thomas Jefferson?
