qcoman, That was quite an observation in responding to Jim. I think we are getting a trading range in the dollar. The dollar has been much strong than what I have seen several weeks. It seems gold bulls wanted to get out of the metal prior to the dollar hitting a bottom.

Set up for a new gold run looks pretty good. Even if the stock market itself goes higher...gold stocks should also benefit but without as much downside risk, imho.
There can't be as much downside simply because gold had been in a bear market for so many year..and the dollar has been in a bull over that time. I used to think (in late 1990s) that the US dollar was the new gold.

I mean loud cries of renewed claims of all these effects
and dismissal of all recent gold gains
and trivialization of all gold reversals on its chart
and rebuke of all things implied by gold's rise

you are very funny
you make me laugh
my best gold indicator is the gold marks on my skivvies
when it turns to a deep yellow gold, time to buy
