He had to grow up with thick skin. Did you ever see the ESPN show with him fishing back in '98? He was really impressive, talking, fishing, running the boat. Made a lot of sense.

RE:"Leftwing press". The fact is the press has been way too kind to Bush. Some dems claim they jumped to the other side. I think they are just playing possum, collecting strength for an all out attack. In addition, in these turbulent times of terror "warnings" gallore they may not want to be viewed as intrusive as yet.
