And I don't see how one can claim that perhaps G&Ks are cheap to buy here without using ANY numbers at all.

I don't claim to have an answer here ... but, if it is true over the long run that previously identified Gorillas still have the earning power they did, just with a bite taken out of it for the current period, doesn't it seem like some of the current basement prices would have to be cheap? One could never prove this by current numbers since we are still in the middle of the mess, but wouldn't it seem necessary?
