What is needed is enforcement of the laws that exist. That is not a popular position with Republicans, who prefer deregulation, so not much is likely to happen. I expect the focus to be on a search for scapegoats.

WCOM is probably toast, but I'm holding some shares on the (unlikely, in my opinion) possibility it survives without eliminating the shareholders.
