JF, I don't understand why people have to entertain Bill's Droidian logic. Even if AMD were to disappear tomorrow, we're not going to return to the days of $3,000 PCs. It doesn't work that way, not even for a monopoly. The PC market is maturing, and there is no way to prevent that.

John, No doubt Dell has completely commoditised the PC business. In the end there will not be much left for Dell either.
All would like larger margins...the holy grail.
