Tenchu, Remember, in snakes the teeth point in, as in Intel. Once AMD is gone up will go the prices to whatever the market will bear. They will probably try for $500 for new CPUs and the price ramp will be slower and the decrements in price smaller, shades of history.

Just using his bad premise to make a point. Higher costs can be good for the box makers, assuming they manage their business.

And you have to agree, if AMD were to go to the trash bin, Intel would enjoy a better gross margin.
