Closer Look: AMD faces DDR-II challenge with its Hammer processor siliconstrategies.com IMO, Looks like AMD couldn't wait, and needed to get the Hammer product out the door before the foundations of DDRII were ready for implementation. Redoing the interface isn't going to be the walk in the park that "some" think it will be, especially with the pressure AMD will be under. If AMD is not careful, they may end up with a CuMine type Fiasco themselves..... Deja Vu......? Semi
