Jim, I see the ASP point, but I'm not sure I understand how AMD going away would result in intel Cost Reduction??

Might yields improve if there was less pressure on raising average frequency?

Elmer is correct. No pressure to keep the speed up. Lower max speeds..better bins...more good chips/wafer...cheaper cost/chip.
