There are many competing stock brokerage firms just as there are many competing real estate brokerage firms. Yet this competition does little to prevent dishonest representation in either business.

Transparent markets require more affirmative laws and enforcement beyond mere competition among a pack of wolves waiting for their next victim.

In time, real estate markets will be held to the same standards of transparency achieved in securities markets - just as standards will continue to be raised in securities markets. The public will demand it.

I'm sorry to hear you consider your training in Consumer Protection to have been a stupid and boring attempt to keep you out of trouble. This speaks for itself.
