James, the question is, how far will this all go?

----
It's remarkable that each of these major companies with alleged bookkeeping overstatements can be linked to the same accounting firm, Arthur Andersen... It's also remarkable that the President and VP are either directly or indirectly related to 3 of the companies, Enron, Halliburton, Harken Energy on this growing and disturbing list... Now, when I hear of a company with alleged bookkeeping problems I check to see who the accounting firm is and whether there are Washington connections... This is sad...

Funny how this is all being played down by the Repubes..Now if it was Clinton, there'd be a call for impeachment.

Anyone have any guesses where the Vix needs to go for a meaningful reversal? I used to use 40 for an entry area but it looks like 50 is the area now.

Jim:

I am glad I have been trying to stay on the sidelines.<g>

The general market continues to tank and it seems we should see a "panic selling" or a "selling climax" pretty soon. People continue to take money out of mutual funds and they will have to redeem stocks.

In the mean time the dollar is also getting weaker while gold is on the upside.

INAP

JIM: It seems it has found support at the $0.18 level.<g>

I admit I just bought a few Ks.<g>

I think WCOM's problems will make corporations that are using Uunet switch to INAP which provides connection through other 5 or 6 nets besides Uunet.

(It just hit $0.26 and a 36% gain for the day is not bad in this kind of market.<g>)

Earnings are due July 24.
