A little reality can be a shocking thing for this thread. The coming renaissance is going to leave some of you stunned and amazed. I've never seen such a collection of bovine-eyed left wing morons on a single thread (other than some of the biotech threads). It's truly amazing...

Well there are plenty of reasons to fear for the future of humanity. Cyberken ranks pretty low.

I'm not sure he's not just a high-school kid who enjoys getting a rise out of people while comfortably hiding behind his anonymity.

He's doing a kind of whacked out futuristic preacher. There's a great judgement coming, all you sinners beware: repent or perish.

His posts are full of invective while utterly devoid of substance. I'm not sure he knows anything. But i think he probably enjoys the attention, for which i am a little sorry to be a part of.

There is one thing his persona has in common with JDN. JDN really believes that there's a struggle between good and evil going on. And as the luck of fate would have it, his political party of choice happens to be on the side of good.

Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Tom Daschle: they're evil.

Isn't this just a less bombastic form of what scares you about Cyberken?

Or what about this JDN pearl:

"I still too vividly remember coming home from a place where I saw my buddies give their all with the stain of their blood in my mind to seeing this RABBLE which calls themselves students, but which in fact never contributed even the LEAST to this country spitting on their image. Its something I try to forget to keep from KILLING SOMEONE MYSELF"

Do you think he was just blowing off steam, or do you think that these Tom Daschle liberals who he says are more traitorous than John Lindh might just drive him to shoot somebody himself one day?

If you really want to fear for mankind, check usenet where real life neo-Nazis flourish. Those guys legitimately scare me...

Steve

Dear QS: Well, since we are delving into personalities here (wow this is something isnt it?) I THINK I am old enough now to realize that there is a certain amount of "Gray" in the World, however, when it comes to illegal activities, or when someone violates their FIDUCIARY responsability then its BLACK AND WHITE for me. These CROOKS that are in the news right now, need to go to jail and I dont care what POLITICAL party they belong too. The Bribes Clinton took to Pardon sometimes HORRIBLE people was a CRIME in my book. I feel President Bush has those same Characteristics, maybe thats why I like him so. If you people are correct and he goes soft on them I will be very disappointed. I dont think he will, but I do think he will follow the law. They can feel lucky, cause I wouldnt. I would jail them immediately, confiscate their assets IMMEDIATELY before some SHYSTER ATTORNEY figures out a way to protect it, and I would let the dogooders howl all they wish. Possession is 9/10's the law. JDN

I think there's a much more important difference between Charles and CYBERKEN: hate.
Charles doesn't hate anyone. CYBERKEN lives for hate.

Charles is a tiny bit dogmatic, but he isn't an extremist.
He clearly feels bound to treat people with some level of dignity, regardless of what they say.

Oh come on now. Haven't you read any of Charles post in the last few weeks? He HATES everything
republican. And he takes EVERY opportunity to drag the group off topic to rant about it.

Now if you don't think Charles is an extremist point me to ONE thing he's said at all positive about Pres. Bush?
If he can't find one then he IS an extremist.

I still say they are more alike than they are different (except that CYBERKEN does go more juvenile than Charles).
