Dave, the main thing you are forgetting is that Osama is winning dead or alive. His goal was to paralyze America financially and we are doing just that to ourselves and Mr. Bush is leading the charge. Dow drops another 282 today

I have a growing concern that our present administration allowed the attacks to progress not knowing the consequences fully.....they did not think the attacks would be so successful and result in the destruction of the WTC. INstead , they thought only a few hundred people would perish or be harmed in some kind of a hijacking. About five other countries had intelligence warnings that were shared with our country and those warnings were indicative that an airplane would be used in a terrorist attack. In a couple cases they thought an aircraft would crash into a monument of some kind. I do not believe that our intelligence is not as capable as that of any other country.in fact we have the best intelligence agencies in the world................no way they totally missed 9/11. When Bush was in Italy at a summit meeting you will remember that they close the airspace over the city and had military planes on patrol................it leads me to believe they knew something was imminent in terms of terrorist activity and airplanes that might be used as bombs to hit land targets. My recourse would be to help join in an American tradition of patriotism and voice my dissent.....that is the act of a true patriot in this country. The Constitution tells us that it is our duty to voice dissent if we feel that our leaders have stepped "over the line". Pat
