Punkistan's natural resources & strengths: apathy and oligarchy
At least for five generations and more since independence the Pakis haven't used their brains; they kept their women away from schools and killed them to uphold the honor of the family. It is unlikely that punkistan will progress if their only national effort and obsession is Kashmir. Kashmir is their undoing over all these years. Continue your obsession and one day the nation will be in bits and pieces. I am looking for a resident idiot and MFB to counter this opinion in order to ensure fairness and balance.-JPR

Realizing the potential By Sultan Ahmed
The Japanese tell us that we are a very rich country in terms of natural resources as compared to their island state. Japan has none
of the many natural resources as we have including cotton and wheat. But Japan made full use of its manpower first, then mobilized its women power in the age of transistors and finally used its brain power following the spread of literacy and higher education. Along with that, it picked up its savings rate by thirty-five per cent which meant tremendous capital to invest and develop and increase its exports rapidly. Of course Japan has now its own economic problems. But those are the problems of rapid development rather than of under-development that we confront.

The monkey which ate raw ginger
The rented Afghan is housed in a rented Guinty

The liberals have taken up the cause of the Guinty (Guantanamo) vacationers from Afghanistan. They contend that wherever the military sets its foot, that foot space is subject to American laws. Naturally the Guinties are subject to the US laws and privileges in their mind. The US Govt. says that they are not charged with any crime and so the need for any representation of the Guinty vacationers in the US courts does not exist. The US courts don't want anything to do with the military matters, that being the convention. The courts are wise. The US further contends that US law does not apply in foreign lands. The liberals jump up and down like the monkey which ate a two-inch long raw ginger. Don't ask me how a monkey feels after eating raw ginger. You better ask the monkey or you try it yourself --don't blame me for any untoward results--and would certainly find out how a monkey feels eating a two-inch long ginger. Coming back to Guinty, the liberals are absolutely sure that Guinty is US territory. The US points out that Guinty is not US territory but belongs to Cuba. Remember that they rented it from the Cubans. Some may perceive a humor here : You can't buy an Afghan but you can rent one. And the rented Afghan can be housed in a rented Guinty. What is wrong with that? Cute logic. Makes sense. The liberals wonder whether Fidel Castro will bring charges against the US on behalf of the vacationers. Cute idea, but no cigars for that.. This is where US and Fidel find concurrence. He won't do it. O Shucks, sigh the liberals.
Then what is going to happen to the Guinty residents. Uncle Sam will probably send them back when everything is quiet in Afghanistan. Until then they can enjoy Uncle Sam's hospitality with medical care, specially prepared food, daily prayers etc.

RSS arms Kashmiri Hindus against terrorists

The Pundits, as the Hindus in Kashmir are called, are living in camps in their own state as a result of forced displacement, while the Islamic terrorists run around killing people. I am looking for a special kind of genius who doubles as MFB, SFB or AFB depending upon availability and opportunity to explain this atrocity. The Pundits are open to suggestions from this MFB. The Kashmir RSS would be very grateful for any help from this opportunistic SFB--JPR

The Kashmir RSS said it had enrolled young and able-bodied women at State-run camps for displaced Hindus in the frontier districts of RS Pura, Samba, Bishnah, Kathua and Ramgarh for a one-week training programme.

Similar programmes are also on in the remote southern Kashmiri districts of Poonch, Rajouri, Doda, Kishtwar and Bhaderwah, the RSS said in Jammu.

"After I received training in rifles, knives and axes, I feel confident that I can now ward off terrorist strikes," said Avni Kumari, a 18-year-old college girl and resident of Doda district.

"I also feel physically stronger after undergoing training in yoga and karate," Kumari said.

Sunita Sharma, 15, said: "The Government should also introduce arms training programmes for women in terrorist-infested areas of Jammu region. We have to train ourselves in meeting any threat from these Islamic terrorists."

Pankaja added: "We also plan to train able-bodied women in villages along the Line of Control.

"Once we are fully trained in handling rifles and other weapons we can help the Indian army and other security agencies in eliminating infiltrators who have their first halt in the villages close to the LoC."
