Ork, I think it was James Grant who noted that the rate of growth of retail space was 5 ? ( at least) times the rate of growth of the population during the 1990s. Business Week may have mentioned this as well. The quote was at Pru bear website -under quotable but now we have some new quote. ho ho ho mike
