Will end the day on the SPX and DOW with hammers, should be good enough for a 1 day ralley... Looking to dump my calls tomorrow, made a killing today on the ES, probably my best total pt day in the last 6mths... :>)

Paul, are you thinking they'll miss?

From the <g> in your last post and your post earlier today where you mentioned "earnings" in quotation marks it appears that you are trying to be coy about your feelings on GE.

If you think there's something wrong with them or that they'll miss, just state why you think so.

I think they'll make their numbers.Their plastic business is doing well, turbine orders are delayed but they got some more today; they're not selling many jet engines, but are making up fo it in service contracts; the media and medical business are holding their own; their credit insurance arms are the only divisions to be a little concerned about. Last time they made their numbers, but it was on lighter revenues and that gave them a good whack.

I agree with your comment about numbers not meaning much until we have a washout (a washout in general, not a washout on GE particularly)
