It's no secret that they've managed their numbers for a very long time, so no, I don't expect them to miss their numbers here. I put 'earnings' in quotes for just that reason; the bottom line is always suspect with them. I'd be very interested to see what they look like if they ever stop it, and now would certainly be the time for them to do so. It's always odd when they post a 15% gain in earnings on a 3% decline in revenues. Cost-cutting, I'm sure. -g-

Companies are going to have to begin certifying their results by August 15, I think. There could be (frankly, there should be) some disclosures and restatements between now and then. Could make it a good window for a bottom.
