wbmw, Well, Apple is near death, but even 3% of this market is a large company. AMD marketing seems to spring from jerry's mind and it is dated. AMD needs to get a good marketing company and do what they say. making your own chipsets and CPUs allows you to make your own mobos, as well as to go vertical, what with all the standard parts out there. Would it be the kiss of death as the mobo makers would abandon you? hard tosay. Intel periodically threatens this. Bill
