I think his point was that Jennings never mentioned the suits against Clinton when he (Clinton) was president. It's not news when the president gets sued, but it is when the vice-president does??


Thanks for pointing out my error. Clearly, I misread his post......I had read Cheney instead of Clinton when Ray said "Klayman filed suit against Clinton several times". Now it makes more sense. However, I find it hard to believe that Jennings never mentioned a lawsuit against Clinton. Its news and the business is very competitive. I find it highly unlikely that Jennings forwent the opportunity.

And let me also say that I feel the press has given Bush a free pass since 9/11. But I suspect that has more to do with my bias than the reality.....at least in the last 4-5 months.
