David, Re: <Coulter is a breath of fresh air, having the guts to stand up and speak the truth about liberals. It is my hope that some of her determination may rub off on other conservatives who have been just a bit too kind and too gentle in criticizing liberal behaviors.>

I think a Coulter or two on the conservative side is fine.(Another, less talented one(IMO) being Bob Novak).

At one time Pat Buchanan was in that position, but he's since, IMO, gone to a more productive path which I admire greatly. I consider Pat(stand intellectually correct) and Orrin Hatch(stand pragmatically correct) to be, currently, the two at the top of the conservative game.(And I understand that Pat has moved far into the pragmatically correct side from the positions he once publically espoused.)

And I deplore the lightweights that are now on Crossfire, once my only unmissable evening show.

I'd sure like to see an evening show that talked about real problems and issues -- with heavyweight thinkers on both sides and no hollering allowed; but it just wouldn't sell in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Heartland USA.

She claims liberals can't wage a decent argument

In my experience, this is correct. When pinned down with the facts, liberal arguments invariably degenerate to name calling and "they did it, too" or "we're no worse than they are" -- hardly winning debate techniques. I've seen this repeated here and elsewhere hundreds of times. Nothing personal, it is just the way liberals do it.

And that's my view of conservatives.......at least on this thread.

The evil chick got me so p*ssed one day with her idiot side that I wrote a several paragraphed email to her

It is interesting that you and I differ so deeply on what is "evil". Coulter is a breath of fresh air, having the guts to stand up and speak the truth about liberals. It is my hope that some of her determination may rub off on other conservatives who have been just a bit too kind and too gentle in criticizing liberal behaviors.

She is an angry, opinionated, destructive human being and you call that a breath of fresh air. We clearly have a different view as to what's positive and what's not.

Sharon and Arafat are the same way and look what they've done for the Middle East. Thank God Coulter is not in a true position of power.

She spews out lies like a bartender tells jokes.

Can you document one?

Sure.
