Perhaps she merely strenuously disagrees with your agenda. That happens here. Some people write longer posts than other people.

Although we totally disagree, you and I, over the nature the communist hearings and what they mean, I think we both realize that is one of the very good things about America- we are, at this moment, free to hold those diametrically opposing views. I think what E and I may find ironic, is that during the time those hearings took place, views like ours (E and me) about those hearings, would have been proof of commie leanings.

Replies four times the length of original posts usually suggest ...
can we say ... agendas?

So objectivity correlates positively with the closeness of the post to a one-liner! Who knew!

I was merely pointing out that you seem to have your own favorite litmus tests for judging people.

Had that been what you'd done, I'd have replied,

"Yep."

However, this is what you actually said:

Is it now obligatory that a good American express contempt for Joe McCarthy?

That sounds suspiciously as in the same vein as the loyalty oaths that Joe insisted upon ... don't you think?

You asked a question, I answered it.
