War on Saddam has started a decade before war on terror..It just was not finished...Now Bush has elevated rhetoric to the sufficient level, to conclude that he had enough of Saddam, Blair or not on Board...He thinks (I agree) that US "relation" with Radical Arab groups hit the bottom, and not to be concerned with...There is significan upside to putting the rest of the Region on notice, "with us" or "against us" are not just empty threats..
