Gore is owned by the unions. The unions have most of the money, and most of the delegates. If Gore runs, he will win the Democrat nomination. In my eyes it's a forgone conclusion.

This time he will lose even more decisively to Bush.

Agree, Gore will decide to sit it out when his money-raising efforts tell him that it's not the year. He wants to be the next Nixon, but that means he has to pay his dues: write at least one book that makes sense to someone other than left wing whackos, work his tail off for Democrat Congressional nominees for several years (and some of them have to win). Then if history is on his side (a visible and complete failure of a Republican administration-so far highly unlikely) he might have a shot in 2008 or 2012.

If he can't handle that road, he just proves he was never qualified, something half the voters already knew in 2000...
