Yep, Allan TA is nothing more than reading tea leaves (please do not take it personally)....... .......... if the markets would be so simple, as to interpret them only by TA then why are so many selling advise and are not supper rich?

." if it does not fit the prediction then let's change the count."......... It happen so often with EW readers/interpreters. In a way very similar to economist they relay on tons of numbers and statistics and seldom get it right similar to TA prognosticators.

Now if you will define economics as a science then you can also declare the validity of TA.

The only reason those people get it right from time to time is that there are enough people to believe them and act upon their recommendation and their wish do happens.

Now if any one will counter with the argument that TA "made me money" then I would answer that any disciplined trading / investing strategy made money for the participants. ......... and if we are at that ........ does any one think that the Omaha guy looks up TA charts every morning and makes his investment decision accordingly ? ......... well I do not think so, ........... as he follows other investment discipline

All this said I do not ignore TA and actually have used it for the last 18 years at a time the whole thing was "NEW" I still post a computer scan daily (from a TA program I helped design) and those who were active in now defunct "Prodigy" of IBM and Sears 16 years ago remember my TA related post then ....... and yes I made money following TA signals ....... but then again I was reading tea leaves <GGGG>
