Very interesting...not only had I never heard of Dianne Warren, I couldn't even recognize a single song on that list. Thanks for reminding me of how out of touch with today's music I am <g>.

Never heard of her...but it looks, by the titles of her songs, like she comes from the Danielle Steele school of musical composition.<g> With similar monetary results.

I can't recall hearing any of them (thank god).

Speaking of Warren....I used to think Jennifer Warren was kind of hot.<gg>

Songwriters are an interesting subject. It amazes me that some are so prolific or influential but get little of the press. Diane Warren certainly has an impressive list of songs and awards.

Leonard Cohen is one I recently had to learn about after hearing traces of Bob Dylan in his lyrics. Turns out he aspired to be a singer but lacked Dylan's distinctive talent for singing. ; )

Now I find out not only was Jennifer Warnes a great interpreter of his music but she is hot in the words of DM. : )
