Our troops are mainly in pullback positions (with the exception of Nathan Bedford Forrest's cavalry destroying a Union supply depot)--gold has not confirmed the huge drop in the Yankee $ last couple of weeks. However, the Euro has exceeded parity with the US$ and there are rumors in the air that one or more European countries are considering recognition of the Confederacy.
