The markets and the economy are tanking
Actually, there is no indication that the economy is tanking. I'll agree the markets are seeing difficult times.

This problem has obviously been exacerbated by 9/11 and the accounting problems, both of which took root in the mid-90s. Luckily, I think the American people know the situation with the markets relates not to the current administration but to the corrupt Clinton* (*impeached) administration.

The markets sold off after Bush spoke. He offered nothing new and tried to blame everything on the previous administration. A number of our corporate CEOs are corrupt and dishonest and that needs to be cleaned up. If Bush does not get behind Sabanes or some other form of reform, then he is believed to be one of them and has no credibility, and conditions worsen, forcing the economy into a double dip recession.

Do you think you can comprehend all that?
