After he made the irrational exuberance comment, he went on to pump so much money into the system that there was no way to avoid "irrational exuberance". His policies are a string of bad decisions based on bad information.

From a stock trading perspective I am not complaining. I don't care which way the market goes as long as it moves. And anybody who is playing in the market is taking a risk and part of the joys of being successful are the pains of losing. But it is part of the game that we play.

But from an economic perspective, I care a lot. Think about all of the people who are unemployed. How many lives have been destroyed because the creation of the bubble and the opportunities for abuse that were created? Think of all of the layoffs going on for the past year. This is ruining lives. And all so that Greenspan could bask in the worshipful accolades that politicians and the media fed him.

Greenspan is on an ego trip that is ruining the economic health of this country.
