That's awful. I came close to drowning twice...once fell through ice on a semi-frozen pond....alone...a mile from home.....hit bottom and came up under the ice.....just like in the movies.....got lucky....and smashed the ice with my fists until I got close enough to the edge to get out.... once a raft I was on leaked out on me.......I was pulled in by a neighbor..... I've heard drowning is........peaceful....I can tell you I never used so much energy in less than a minute in my life....some peace. My BIL used to pick up bodies....all over...all methods....and all graphic at the dinner table. Your event will leave me with a new vision. And will rekindle my respect for water. Shootie
