Of course no other country accommodates fools. In fact, English is so prevalent especially in computer language that it has become a second language for most children in other countries. Why isn't it being taught in our own country. What you've observed in schools is simply horrible. What greater aversion therapy to learning a foreign language can there be than throwing multiple language instruction into the bedlam of our school system. While 90 percent of Dutch children are fluent in English, their second language, only 80 percent of American children are, and it's their first language. If the goal is to undermine what makes this country great, it's working. Political correctness is the biggest bunch of bs ever. New math proved a stupid notion, and it was eliminated, NOthing but English should be spoken in the classroom unless it is a foreign language class. American children are not stupid, but they end up that way after years in the American school system. That's criminal. And what is Bush doing about it? I don't know so I'm asking.
