I have watched PnF for a few years....all I can say it is slow...it probably works most of the time....I'm not a real piffer. Nobody said PnF was the holy grail? You don't need PnF to see support/resistance

If using the P&F charts strictly by the "book", that is all true, but gold has a habit of giving sell signals before having a big rally. I believe that it is wise to be flexible in the interpretation of P&F charts.

The 2pt chart gives a decent example of what I am talking about. And note that the POG is still above the BSL.
